Mind affects body
Body affects mind
Do you feel tired, depressed, anxious?
Do you have trouble sleeping?
Is weight a problem?
Is your waistline expanding?
Do you feel stressed by your circumstances?
Is your health as good as you want it to be?
We contribute to our good health by:
- what we do with our bodies
- what we do in our minds.
Are you satisfied?
Are you satisfied with your health, your life, your wellbeing? Do you want to get more out of life: enjoyment, motivation, satisfaction, achievement, a sense of well-being that goes way beyond not being sick?
We can get so used to feeling less than marvellous that we don't notice what we are missing. It is easy to turn a blind eye to possible consequences of our actions: smoking, lack of exercise, poor food choices, sleep deprivation. Sometimes things have to get much worse before we take notice. But the longer we leave it the harder it is to correct.
There is a big difference between not being sick and feeling a genuine sense of wellness in mind and body.
